Custom Abilities

Redux-exclusive abilities and the imported ability packs available in Legends of Dota Redux.

Alongside every standard Dota 2 ability, Legends of Dota Redux ships a large library of custom and imported abilities. These are defined in npc_abilities_custom.txt and implemented in the vscripts/abilities/ directory.

Redux original abilities

These abilities were written from scratch for this game mode and do not exist anywhere else:

arcane_mastery	Reduces cooldowns based on intelligence
aether_range_lod	Increases cast range, scales with level
berserkers_blood_lod	Grants bonus attack speed and lifesteal at low health (Huskar-style, hero-agnostic)
side_gunner_redux	Fires side rockets passively (Gyrocopter’s perk-tied ability)
crater	Creates a crater that slows enemies who step inside
mana_laser	Fires a mana-burning beam at a target
jingtong	Resets cooldowns of other abilities on use
jingtong_op	OP version of Jingtong with more resets
zhanhun	Additional cooldown-reset ability
zhanhun_op	OP version of Zhanhun
dazzle_bad_juju_redux	Redux rework of Bad Juju, adjusting cooldown reduction scaling
obsidian_destroyer_astral_imprisonment_redux	Tweaked Astral Imprisonment that stores mana differently
nyx_assassin_burrow_redux	A redux version of Nyx’s Burrow with adjusted stats
morph_*_redux	Toggle-based Redux Morphling variants (Int↔Str, Agi↔Int, etc.)

Flesh Heap series — a large set of on-kill stacking abilities, each granting a different stat as kills accumulate: Agility, Strength, Intelligence, Armor, Move Speed, Attack Speed, Attack Range, Cast Range, Evasion, Magic Resistance, Health Regen, Mana Regen, Lifesteal, Spell Amp, Spell Lifesteal, Cooldown Reduction, Vision, and Heal Amp.

Lingering Souls series — soul-based stacking abilities from Spell Lab (Agility, Strength, Intelligence, Armor, Attack Range, Attack Speed, Cast Range, Cooldown, Damage, Evasion, Health Regen, Magic Resistance, Mana Regen, Move Speed, Spell Boost, Vision).

Survivor series — abilities that retain 33% of their stacks on death, covering the same stat range as Souls.

OneShot OneKill pack

A set of high-impact abilities imported from the OneShot OneKill game mode:
